4 winners from Turkey at the first edition of the Design Management Europe Award.
Tariş Zeytin, T-Box, Nurus and Demirden Design have been among the winning companies of Design Management Europe Award (DMEA) project where İzmir ABİGEM has represented Turkey.
A total of 18 winners and 26 honourable mentions were announced on 22 November 2007 during a ceremony in the red dot design museum in Essen (Germany).
Turkey has finally had 1 winner and 3 honourable mentions in the first edition of the Design Management Europe Award. The companies have been recommended by İzmir ABİGEM to the competition. The Award purpose is to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of competitively selected companies and organisation to reliably measure their success for the first time within the scope of a European Union Competition. For this first edition, nominees were participating in six categories: micro, small, medium and large companies, non-profit organisations and new comers.
The DME Award Ceremony was held on 22 November 2007 at the red dot design museum in Essen (Germany). Distinguished guests like Reinhard Büscher, Head of Unit, Innovation Policy Development Enterprise and Industry DG from the European Commission or Andreas Krautscheid, Minister for European and Federal Affairs for the State of North Rhine Westphalia, and design-minded organisations were there to honour the winners. After the ceremony, attendees were invited to the opening of the Design Management Europe.
